Nicole and Geoff treated their family and friends to an amazing wedding at the Canadian Martyrs church and the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. They had a lot going in their favour: the weather cooperated beautifully, they had a very enthusiastic secret service operative to protect their rings, the priest gave me free reign at the church, and the groom’s aunt gave a hilariously inappropriate speech that no one will forget any time soon.
Congratulations Nicole and Geoff!
Heather and William were married this last weekend at St. Theresa’s Church in Ottawa and held a great dinner and party for their family and friends at the Royal Ottawa Golf Club in Gatineau. I first photographed Heather and William at the wedding of Margaux and Josh’s wedding at the Britannia Yacht Club, then again at Jesse and Jeremy’s wedding at the Strathmere Lodge, so I was very excited when they asked me to photograph their wedding this summer. Here are a few frames from the big event!
Congratulations Heather and William!
Cheers, Blair
Dana and Phil’s wedding was one of the most intimate weddings I have ever photographed. It started by packing a dozen or so guests into the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral in the Byward Market, then trudging across town for a typical wedding meal at Beckta Dining and Wine restaurant (typical = amazing at Beckta)! I even got to sample a bottle of 2003 Dom Perignon champaign. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday if you ask me.
Congratulations Dana and Phil!
This past weekend I made the trek to Cornwall to photograph Pascale and Mike’s wedding at the NAV Centre. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we were able to shoot their portraits in the Eco Gardens on the waterfront. Pascale originally saw me in action at a few of the first weddings I ever shot and contacted me as soon as the ring was on her finger. It is always a wonderful compliment when clients choose their wedding date around your availability!
