Third Floor York | 1 York Street, 3rd Floor | Byward Market, Ottawa
In the heart of Ottawa’s Byward Market, Third Floor York lives on the top floor of a gorgeous stone heritage building at the corner of York and Sussex. This was the first commercial building ever built in the nation’s capital.
A collaborative collective of some of Canada’s best creative minds in the photography, events and cinema industry, Third Floor York is always buzzing with contagious energy. It’s no surprise you immediately feel inspired in the studio since the area itself is rich in artistic history. Local artisans have been showcasing their work on York Street since the end of the 19th century.
A group of five great Ottawa photographers came together to form this creative powerhouse. Third Floor York supports each other’s independent entrepreneurial endeavors and provides the ability to collaborate, all in a mutually respectful (and really fun) environment.
Each with their own unique talents and various skill sets, they work together to learn from one another, share techniques and scale their abilities to meet the needs of clients together. One might say Third Floor York is comparable to a “one-man band”. It’s made of many parts, each instrument being fully capable of carrying a tune on its own, but all together you get the full creative experience.
I am always happy to meet for a chat, coffee, beer, whatever, at the studio Third Floor York in the Byward Market. Just drop me a note!
