Temple’s Sugar Bush Wedding | Chelsea + Dave
Chelsea and Dave were married last fall at Temple’s Sugar Bush in the Ottawa Valley.Tucked into a maple forest, the venue accented their navy, gold, and burgundy wedding colours, and was the perfect backdrop for their simple, romantic wedding with 150 guests.
Chelsea’s hair was styled by Kristy Gaudreault at TopKnot, and her make-up was done by friend Jennifer Taylor.
Chelsea’s dress was by Martina Liana, from With Love Bridal Boutique.
It was a beautiful day for the outdoor ceremony, nestled into the maple forest at Temple’s Sugar Bush.
One of Chelsea and Dave’s favourite moments of the day was when they saw each other for the first time as Chelsea walked down the aisle.
The bridesmaids wore Sorella Vita Gold Sequin dresses from With Love Bridal Boutique, while the groomsmen were dressed in suits from Moores.
“Blair and Matt were extremely easy to work with on our wedding day. They met all our wishes and more. They made it seamless; we hardly knew they were there but captured everything perfectly. I have seen other photographers at weddings be extremely pushy and in the way. Blair was firm and kept everything organized to a T, without making it only about his needs.” – Chelsea and Dave
“We did not want all the typical wedding photos. We wanted the real, emotional, candid pictures and Blair’s style was exactly that.” – Chelsea and Dave
Chelsea and Dave’s wedding guests went home with Temple’s Sugar Bush maple syrup bottles.
“We could not be any happier with our photos. We decided against a videographer and relied heavily on Blair to capture the feel and emotion through his photography. He did that with every single picture.” – Chelsea and Dave
Chelsea and Dave chose Perfect by Ed sheeran and Beyonce for their wedding song. “We had a different country song picked out since before we even got engaged (Dave played it when we got engaged). About 2 months before our wedding Dave said we had to use Perfect instead, because every time he heard it he pictured us on our wedding day.”
DJ Ray Ray of Oxygen Entertainment put on the best reception for Chelsea and Dave, and kept the party going until the very end of the evening.
