This is real folks – no photoshop trickery here. This sunset engagement session was the result of months of pre-conceptualization and manic preparedness. I have wanted to photograph this epic tree for about six years and have been waiting for the right inspiration. When my epiphony finally came a few months ago, I email Jessey and simply asked, “Do you guys like trees?” In fact, they love trees! We even rescheduled this shoot a few times because I didn’t feel that conditions were perfect. I spent the evening rolling around in the dirt and crawling through a field to get the right perspective, but it was all worth it. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding later this year!

I will be photographing Renate ad Matthews wedding later this year at Temples Sugar Bush near Carleton Place and we decided to shoot their engagement session at the Canadian Museum of Civilization – right where Matthew proposed.

Here is the third and final shoot with Meagan and Dan in our engagement series. You may remember they first played a little dodgeball, then watched some hockey and now they are lost in the woods. You can’t tell, but we are all standing in snow up to our knees, hopefully they made it out in time to hit the Lululemon warehouse sale this weekend. There wedding is in three weeks, so don’t think you have seen the last of them!

Can a moderate Ottawa Senators fan (Meagan) and an extreme Ottawa Senators fan (Dan) live together peacefully?
