Trista + Brad | Northfork Country Kitchen wedding
Trista and Brad planned an amazing wedding and I was very happy to be there. They were married barefoot on the beach at Allumette Lake. They had a mountain of timbits, a canoe full of beer and boozy lemonade for their guests to enjoy while we took care of the obligatory family photos. I even taught the bride how to open a bottle of champagne without the threat of window damage. A 1966 springtime yellow Ford Mustang GT pulled up just in time for our portrait session, the groom took a pee in a field, their guests were totally loaded by the time we arrived to the reception and the food at the Northfork Country Kitchen in Chichester, Quebec was homemade and delicious! The speeches were heartfelt and it got a little dirty on the dance floor – luckily someone brought a bubble-gun.
“He crushes beers like it’s his job.” – Trista about Brad
“I’m always smiling because I’m always drinking!” – Brad during the portrait session
Trista and Brad booked me after seeing the photos from the wedding of their friends Kelly + Tomas in 2009. I hope this isn’t the last I see of this circle of friends. What a great night!
