Jessica and Patrick were married at a beautiful church in Pembroke, Ontario before moving the party across the boarder to Chichester, Quebec. I have photographed so may of Jess and Pat’s friends weddings that I have lost count. A few years ago I shot a phenomenal wedding at the North Fork Country Kitchen, but I was blown away with how they transformed it from a rustic barn into a really fancy barn – like fancy AF. The dessert bar was bananas. Not actual bananas, but like crazy-good-bananas. The meal was prepared by Ullrich’s On Main in Pembroke and was one of the best meals I have ever had at a wedding. What an amazing time for their family and friends; congratulations Jessica and Patrick!

Jane and Patrick had a fantastic October wedding at the Royal Ottawa Golf and Country Club in Gatineau. Jane spent the morning being dotted on in her suite at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier while Patrick spend a relaxing morning with his closest friends at a home in the Glebe. After their first look, they spent some time exploring Hog’s Back Falls and chasing around Jane’s run-away veil before heading to Gatineau for their country club wedding. Despite the wind, the weather was perfect, and it stayed sunny and warm just as long as we needed it to.

Janie and Brad were married at the Ottawa Westin on a warm day in October; one of the last warm days of the season. They exchanged heart-felt letters in the morning and explored downtown during their portrait session. Their guests enjoyed a beautiful and bright ceremony which was followed by an exciting reception and dinner. They had one of most entertaining kiss-games that Ive seen in a while – their family and friends had to put on a Leafs, Bruins, or Canadiens hockey jersey and score on a tiny net using a mini-hockey stick.

Not only was this past Sunday Ashley and Jason’s amazing September wedding at the Canadian Golf and Country Club, but there was also a supermoon, followed by a total lunar eclipse that night. The moon was also a Harvest Moon and a Blood Moon. So four of the most interesting moon-types happened all at the same time that night and won’t happen again for quite some time. The wedding also featured beautiful bridesmaids, weird groomsmen, a guestbook puzzle, a pig roast, and a live band – but, supermoon!
