Meaghan and Nic spent the morning helping each other get ready in the Colonel By Suite at the Ottawa Westin and watching Jaws 2 before holding their intimate wedding ceremony against the downtown skyline. They were chauffeured from the Ottawa Westin to the National Arts Centre for portraits, then to Erlings Variety in the Glebe in a classic grey limo driven by a man named Pepe. Their wedding was classic, contemporary, and intimate all at the same time.

Congratulations Meaghan and Nic!
I had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Diana and Marc at St. Anthony’s church in Little Italy and the Visitation Banquet Centre in South Gloucester this past weekend. Her family is Russia, his is Italian, how much trouble could we possibly get in? When the table wine is paired with a bottle of vodka, you know it is going to be a good one. After their ceremony, we jumped into a mustang convertible and raced to Suzy Q Doughnuts for a quick fix before getting on with the rest of the day. This wedding was another beauty – Zazdarovje!

Diana’s dress was from Renewed With Love and her hair was by Lucas Nault, Essence Catering kept everyone fed, and In Touch Media got everyone on the dance floor before Suzy Q Doughnuts put them into a sugar coma. Congratulations Diana and Marc!
Jaclyn and Tyler’s wedding at the Doctors House in Kleinburg, Ontario, north of Toronto, was a real beauty! However, I did see and hear things that I had never seen or heard at a wedding before – and they are best not disclosed here. I also know way more about vaporizers than I really need to. The wedding party looked great, the weather was perfect, the guests were party animals, and the location was beautiful – it doesn’t get much better than that. Congratulations Jac and Ty!

Joelle and Francois planned a gorgeous summer wedding for their family and friends with the help from Tia Ward and the Ottawa Westin. Joelle was zipped into her gorgeous Spanish-designer wedding dress in the Bonaventure suit while Francois and the guys donned their custom light-grey suits in a suite next door. The couple were married at the St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in the afternoon, explored downtown Ottawa during their portrait shoot, and partied with the guests in the Governor General Ballroom until the early morning. The day was full of laughter, tears, and unexpected moments; like when the Groom’s father sang Brown Eyed Girl using the groomsmen as backup singers, and when the Bride snuck off with a friend to eat her favorite cake icing behind the head-table. It was a truly fantastic day!
Congratulations Joelle and Francois!
