I shot a two-part engagement portrait session with Isha and Sam last week. The first part was an Indian-inspired shoot at the Shore Club in the Ottawa Westin and the second was a more causal shoot on the patio at Restaurant 18 in the Byward Market. Many cocktails were consumed by all. Enjoy!

I always love shooting weddings at Saunder’s Farm. The first images that most people think of are monsters and pumpkins, but it is a really beautiful, alternative and very green wedding venue. I photographed the wedding of Aimee’s brother Vincent to his beautiful wife Katie a few years ago and the family decided to keep me around. Enjoy!

This is real folks – no photoshop trickery here. This sunset engagement session was the result of months of pre-conceptualization and manic preparedness. I have wanted to photograph this epic tree for about six years and have been waiting for the right inspiration. When my epiphony finally came a few months ago, I email Jessey and simply asked, “Do you guys like trees?” In fact, they love trees! We even rescheduled this shoot a few times because I didn’t feel that conditions were perfect. I spent the evening rolling around in the dirt and crawling through a field to get the right perspective, but it was all worth it. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding later this year!
