Jessica and Patrick were married at a beautiful church in Pembroke, Ontario before moving the party across the boarder to Chichester, Quebec. I have photographed so may of Jess and Pat’s friends weddings that I have lost count. A few years ago I shot a phenomenal wedding at the North Fork Country Kitchen, but I was blown away with how they transformed it from a rustic barn into a really fancy barn – like fancy AF. The dessert bar was bananas. Not actual bananas, but like crazy-good-bananas. The meal was prepared by Ullrich’s On Main in Pembroke and was one of the best meals I have ever had at a wedding. What an amazing time for their family and friends; congratulations Jessica and Patrick!

Jennifer and Tom had an awesome September wedding at Pinhey’s Point, along the Ottawa River this past weekend. Featuring polar bear shots, golf carts, walking in the river, full moon, a live band, and a cigar lounge. Amazing.

Congratulations Jennifer and Tom. Pinhey’s Point will never be the same!

Laine and Bryan hosted one hell of a lakeside wedding for their friends and family at Wilderness Tours west of Ottawa. The weather kept us on our toes, but between the rain showers and gusting wind we made it all come together.

Ashley and Curtis were married beside a quiet pond and shared their first dance under a marquee sign declaring their love for one another at Saunders Farm in Munster, Ontario near Ottawa.

They can be ruined by heat, rain, or bugs, but outdoor wedding ceremonies are amazing! For wedding photographers they are a dream, because it means they don’t have to setup lights, or shoot under funky-coloured lights, and they can focus on the emotion of the ceremony. Outdoor wedding ceremonies are also usually celebrated by Officiants which can have fewer rules than ministers and prints; freeing up your photographer to be as creative as the environment allows. Please enjoy some of my favourite outdoor wedding ceremony photos from the last few years!
